Eric Brewer-Garcia has lived in Santiago, Chile and traveled throughout South America. He has worked in the Bay Area at a grassroots level within a socially, economically, and ethnically diverse community. Eric has focused on learning the role that a community-based organization can play in helping this type of community overcome its obstacles and meet its needs. One of his goals has been to continue exploring ways to integrate information technology in the work of community development. Being fortunate enough to have received such excellent opportunities guidance, experience and inspiration from his family, university and work environments, Eric feels committed to helping generate more opportunities for others who need them.
