Javier Huizar-Murillo

Statistical Researcher

Javier graduated from UCSC with a double major in Latin American & Latino Studies and Global Economics. His final project for his Latin American studies major was a documentary on the student movements of Mexico, with a focus on the movements of the sixties and of the recent movements of 1999 and 2000. This project was put forward by the students at the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

Javier has worked as a Community Organizer with Congregations Organizing for Renewal. He has been a long time resident of the Bay Area having lived in San José, Mountain View, Santa Cruz, and Aptos. While working with the CJTC, Javier provided extensive technical support.
