Globalizing in San Francisco:
POWER

This is a practical, user-friendly workshop developed by POWER (People Organized to Win Employment Rights), a grassroots organization based in San Francisco that works with low-wage and no-wage workers, predominantly from Bay Area communities of color such as the Mission, Tenderloin, Hunters Point and Richmond. The workshop puts housing and gentrification issues into the context of historical and global trends, starting with scenarios developed from the stories of POWERs members.
