Articulating the basics of Globalization:
LELO

These three documents are used by LELO (The NOrthwest Labor and Employment Law Office), a grassroots organizing groupbased in Seattle, Washington. LELO organizers facilitate popular education sessions with an array of constituencies, and have found these facts to be helpful in articulating the basics of globalization.

Power and Imperialism:
SOUL

This module is set up as a series of exercises designed to introduce participants to a basic understanding of imperialism and its impact on the people of the world. You should mix-and-match these exercises to meet the needs of your particular group, which should stay in the order in which they are presented. The workshop helps participants develop a basic understanding of the power and how the U.S. has built its wealth through conquest.

Tennessee Economic Renewal Network and Highlander Center
